A short game inspired by a short horror story - The New Mother by Lucy Clifford (1882)

A little girl and her brother meet a strange homeless girl who tempts them with a secret: "Be naughty, and I'll show you a tiny man and woman dancing." Eager to see the magic, the children wreak havoc across their home and village. But as their mischief grows, their mother begins to change—distant, cold, fading away. Soon, the children learn the truth: if they don’t stop, their mother will vanish, replaced by something sinister—a new mother with glass eyes and a wooden tail.
